Ho‘opili - A Livable Community

When designing Ho‘opili, the Community Task Force also envisioned the kind of traditional Hawai‘i community — where people walk, get to know their neighbors, and enjoy a sense of place — that exists within some of our islands’ best neighborhoods.

“Live-Work” Opportunities

Ho‘opili is also designed to offer a variety of housing options, styles, and price ranges. A planned key feature is “live-work” living spaces where residents can live above a small shop or business in Ho‘opili’s main commercial centers.

The idea has already sparked bona fide interest and excitement from local residents who are interested in this live-work opportunity, which D.R. Horton is introducing at their Mehana community later this year.
